But you survive eventually, and she dies instead.
After, Harry finds Alessa. He wants her to give back his daughter! She uses an unknown power to force him back, and to create an invisible wall that he runs into. Flauros rises out into the air and stops her! Dahlia is here now, to abuse her child, and Harry wakes up in the hospital again.
There are a lot of puzzles here. Someone’s carved on the doors names “Ophiel”, “Hagith”, and “Phaleg”.
Lisa is there and unhappy. She wants help but what can you do?
Then, the pathway opens
Awaiting them, the frenzied
Uproar, the feast of death!
Open the door. Lisa begins to bleed in understanding of how she is the same as the murderous nurses and other monsters. Harry pushes her away and leaves the room to sad yet wistful country music; perhaps in reconsideration, you re-enter. She’s not there anymore. There’s only her diary, which speaks of a child she was taking care of, alive and with wounds that wouldn’t heal, a room filled with insects that got in to spite her, and blood and pus flowing from the bathroom faucet… Another VHS tape descibes her unusually high fever, charred skin, and endless blood and pus…
The doctors and Dahlia discuss the child in more exploitative terms. They need her power, but she’s split in half and not present, so they can’t use it. So Dahlia proposes using a magical spell.
A few puzzles later, involving the Grim Reaper’s List, and there’s one last door!

The door opens. In the past, Alessa tells her mother she just wants to be with her, but her mother wants to use her power for her own good. But Dahlia realizes “Herein lies the mother’s womb, containing the power to create life,” which is of dubious meaning.
Downstairs in the chainlink basement, Dahlia explains to a confused Harry that Cheryl is Alessa returned to her former self. For seven years, Alessa has been kept alive suffering a fate worse than death. Alessa has been trapped in an endless nightmare from which she never awakens. Alessa is on a wheelchair, covered with bandages.
The time is neigh!
This will lead to Alessa birthing a god that will release everyone from pain and suffering, wash away all our sorrows, and return us to the true paradise, somehow. A glowing white figure appears in Cheryl and Alessa’s place, and Dahlia explains that this is a God “descended among us to reach out and save us”.
God immediately lights Dahlia on fire.

After Harry runs out of bullets, the God dies on her own. Cheryl’s voice thanks Harry for saving her, and she disappears. Harry falls to his knees as the world burns around him.
The end!
The credits helpfully inform you of your stats, as well as that this is Ending: BAD.
If you start a new game on this save, it’s entitled New Fear.

Thanks! The writing style is up in the air still; I imagine it’ll settle down if I do more of these. Same with using existing screenshots/videos instead of taking my own… everything’s kind of messy right now because it’s my first time doing it, trying new things in the middle of it, etc.
